Hero Armor. An Installation in Honor of the Ukrainian Military Will Be Presented at Burning Man 2026
Ground News is a news aggregator, so this page holds no original reporting. It groups three reports on the same story and shows a short summary credited to the Ukrainian outlet Novoe Vremya (NV). The page says Novoe Vremya broke the news in Kyiv on 22 July 2026.
According to that summary, Burning Man 2026 will present an independent Ukrainian art project created by teams from Ukraine, the Netherlands and the United States. It is dedicated to Ukrainian civilians who took up arms to defend their country and to the memory of artist and serviceman Zakhar Zakharov.
The page lists two other linked reports. One, from nikvesti.com, says the festival in the Nevada desert will feature the sculpture Hero Armor, created in honor of Ukrainians who defended their country and those who continue their work, and credits the project team via UP.Culture. The other is from Espreso. Ground News marks the sources as not yet rated for factuality or bias, and much of its analysis sits behind a paid tier. The text shown is a rough machine translation, so wording is imprecise.
