Rescue Now Foundation is grateful to Room 8 Group for its $10,000 contribution to the creation of HERO ARMOR
In a LinkedIn post dated 15 September, the Rescue Now Foundation thanks Room 8 Group for a $10,000 contribution to the creation of HERO ARMOR, which it calls a Ukrainian art installation presented at Burning Man 2026. The foundation says HERO ARMOR was initiated and created by Ukrainian architect and designer Liza Kormilets, based on the original concept and 3D model of her cousin, artist and serviceman Zakhar Zakharov. Before the full-scale invasion Zakhar worked at Room 8 Group, which the post says makes the company's support especially meaningful as a way to honor a colleague and back a project that carries his creative legacy forward.
According to the post, the contribution helped the team complete the first stage: fabrication of the object, technical preparation, logistics, delivery and installation at Burning Man. It adds that the installation speaks about memory, inner strength and Ukrainians who left civilian life to defend their country.
