HERO ARMOR: Україна представить на Burning Man 2026 інсталяцію на честь полеглих захисників
LUX FM, in a short lifestyle item by Nastia Burdiak, says Ukraine is getting ready for this year's Burning Man and has presented its large installation HERO ARMOR. The page credits "bit" (the BIT.UA site) as its source. It dedicates the work to Ukrainian defenders and civilians who took up the defense of the country after the full-scale war began.
According to the outlet, the sculpture also honors 3D artist and serviceman Zakhar Zakharov, whose digital image of a futuristic warrior became the basis of the art object. It names artist Liza Kormilets as the author of the project. In her account, the idea was born after a trip to Burning Man, where she left a photograph of her cousin Zakhar at the festival's memorial temple, and she realized his work should get a new life as a large public installation.
LUX FM adds that an independent Ukrainian team works on the project together with the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center, which helps military personnel and civilians affected by the war. It quotes the organizers saying HERO ARMOR is dedicated to everyone who stood up for their country and speaks about the strength of those who carry their stories on. The festival runs 30 August to 7 September in the Black Rock desert.

«Над проєктом працює незалежна українська команда у співпраці з реабілітаційним центром UNBROKEN, який допомагає військовим і цивільним, що постраждали внаслідок війни.»— LUX FM
