Український герой поїде на Burning Man 2026: що відомо про проєкт HERO ARMOR
SPEKA, a Ukrainian outlet about business and technology, reported on 21 July 2026, citing the project's press release, that the anniversary Burning Man 2026 would feature HERO ARMOR, a Ukrainian art object dedicated to the memory of 3D artist and soldier Zakhar Zakharov, created in partnership with the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center in Lviv.
The outlet tells how the project began: at Burning Man 2025, founder and lead artist Liza Kormilets left a photograph of her cousin Zakhar, a 3D artist who volunteered for the front and did not return, at the Temple. Among thousands of photos it was spotted by Zakhar's childhood friend. Back from the desert, Liza decided the story should continue as an artwork, built on the futuristic warrior Zakhar had designed before the full-scale war.
SPEKA notes that the work will be seen by tens of thousands of festival participants in Black Rock City, describes UNBROKEN as one of the key recovery centres for wounded soldiers and civilians, and places HERO ARMOR within a wider trend of digital images moving from studios into physical space.
«Проєкт народився з реальної історії, яка звучить як сценарій фільму.»— Спека
«Основою інсталяції став цифровий образ футуристичного воїна, якого Захар створив ще до повномасштабної війни.»— Спека
